Abstract

Ba0.6K0.4Fe2As2 Iron based compound was synthesized by two-step solid state reaction method with low sinter temperature heat treatment. First, the FeAs powder was prepared and then it was mixed with Ba and K to prepare Ba0.6K0.4Fe2As2 samples. X-ray diffraction spectrum of the samples was analyzed using MAUD software. The obtained results of the XRD analyses: lattice parameters, unit cell volume and bonding angles in the crystal structure showed good agreement with the literatures.
