Investigation of Magnetic Properties of Superconductors YBa2Cu3-xBixO7-δ

Abstract

  In the present study, YBCO superconductors, with substitution of Bi for the CU site, with the impurity content of x=0 to x=0.05, were prepared by the standard solid state reaction method. Temperature dependence of AC magnetic susceptibility measurements of samples did not change with by Bi doping in YBa2Cu3-xBixO7-δ compound The grain size also increases with increasing Bi in the YBa2Cu3-xBixO7-δ compound. This increase in grain size indicates the doped element has been entered in the composition.
